  • Summer awakens at the jersey shore on long Beach Island. I captured the Milky Way arching over the Barnegat Inlet.

  • Taken in the Navajo Tribal lands with a south facing view in Monument Valley in Southern Utah. Captured from 163 images. Saddleback, King On His Throne, Stagecoach rock formations.

  • "Everything's Alright" I captured this in early spring of this year. This is what's remaining of the Ocean Grove Pier after Superstorm Sandy wrecked havok along the east coast in 2012. Ralph was placed above the pier a symbol of hope. I figured out how to capture the Milky Way in various exposure scenarios. After upgrading my pc, I decided it was time to test my editing skills on this almost impossible photo.

Details - 2 Exposures blended to retain foreground detail.<br />
Sky Exposure - f/2.8 30 sec. ISO 6400<br />
Foreground Exposure - F/2.8 120 sec. ISO 6400<br />
Blended in Photoshop CC and processed in Lightroom CC.

  • "Edge of Darkness" Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona with the Milky Way rising overhead. Taken at the edge of a cliff in complete darkness. This is 6 images vertically stitched in Lightroom 6.<br />
Image Details: Nikon D750 using the New Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 VC at 15mm 30 seconds at ISO 6400. 6 images stitched vertically in Lightroom 6.
